I was able to take my mother flying on Nov. 15th (which happened to be her birthday...or as she says, an anniversary of her 39th birthday)  Anyway, it was a big deal for me, and while the landing wasn't perfect, every landing on 1100' of grass is a great one if you don't eat the trees at the far end... ;-)
