This page is about my one addiction...flying. Anything aviation related will get my motor running in a blink of an eye. I am starting a new project called a "Sonex". It is an economical 2 seat low-wing monoplane with exceptional performance for the money and horsepower. You can click on the picture below for some images of my build. The picture below is a shot of Tony Spicer's beautiful Sonex (the first customer built example to fly). He was kind enough to let me fly that bird for a few minutes and I was duly impressed both with the handling and performance.
For more Sonex-related info check out ... Another interesting bird, designed by Tom Cadet of Australia is the Boorabee. I recently got in touch with the designer and had a great chat. The design is a interesting one utilizing the tried and true "pilot on a stick" fuselage design of 1 large diameter aluminum tube along with a lightweight Kevlar fuselage "pod" for excellent aerodynamics...here's one of the few pictures I have of the bird...more info to come...
